Product Questions

Holecutting System Questions

Can I use my own drill with the system?
Yes, but several criteria must be met to keep optimum performance. The drill speed should not exceed 1200 RPM. The drill needs a boss to mount the speed reducer. Adapter rings are available from Evergreen Tool Company to fit a wide variety of drills. Visit our product page or contact us to learn more about using your own drills.

How many holes can I expect from a cutter?
The life of a cutter will vary depending upon the material being cut and the individual operator. Our customers tell us they usually can get from 75 to 150 holes drilled in 18 gauge stainless steel – nearly ten to twenty times that of regular hole saws.
